The
City of London Police, in partnership with
Eastern City BID and
Aldgate Connect BID, has launched the
City Safe Bus - a mobile welfare hub based outside Liverpool Street Station.
As part of this initiative, free training is now available for local venues, businesses, and nighttime workers. The courses help teams recognise vulnerability, prevent harm, and take action when it matters most - strengthening safety across the Square Mile.
The City Safe Bus operates every Thursday to Saturday evening, offering on-the-spot support for anyone who feels unwell, unsafe, or vulnerable during a night out. Staffed by two police officers and a trained medic, the bus provides reassurance, welfare, and medical care, helping to create a calmer, safer nighttime environment for everyone.
