Introducing NTES Training: Real Learning for Real Nights

The launch of our new NTES Training platform.

I’m thrilled to finally share something that’s been quietly growing behind the scenes for the past year: the launch of our new NTES Training platform. Designed to help people working in nightlife, arts, music, culture, and communities build safer, more inclusive, and more compassionate nighttime environments.

This isn’t just a product launch. It’s the result of years of listening, learning, and working alongside the people who make the night come alive, from bar staff and promoters to police, council teams, and volunteers.

We are launching with our five most popular courses, with additional courses to follow.

You can see the courses here:

This isn’t just about compliance. It’s about care. It’s about reimagining what safety looks like when people feel seen, valued, and prepared. I’m incredibly proud of everyone who has contributed to this moment: our partners, trainers, testers, and the cities that took the leap first. The night can be both safe and spectacular. Let’s make that the standard, together.

Why We Built NTES Academy

For a long time, we’ve believed that real change doesn’t start with policy or infrastructure; it begins with people.

The decisions made at midnight, the conversations that diffuse tension, the small acts of awareness that prevent harm.

We’ve seen what happens when training is missing: confusion, inconsistency, and sometimes tragedy. However, when people are truly equipped with knowledge, empathy, and confidence, something shifts. A culture of care begins to take root.

It's already making a difference

Before today’s official launch, we’ve been quietly piloting and refining these courses in nine cities across Ireland and 5 locations in the UK, including:

Northampton

Ireland

Kent

Westminster

Avon and Somerset

Our Digital Courses

Our official launch brings five new digital courses to the public, all available via our platform:

What makes us different?

We’re not just another training provider. We’re practitioners of the night, people who’ve worked in the field, seen the gaps, and built something that bridges them.
  • Real Night-Time Expertise – Every trainer has lived experience in nightlife safety, harm reduction, or policy.
  • Grounded in Case Studies – Built on lessons from 40+ cities across the UK, Ireland & Europe.
  • Flexible Delivery – Online, hybrid, and in-person formats to suit your team.
  • Continuous Support – Certification is just the start; we’re building communities of practice.

Looking ahead

This is only the beginning.

Our next step is launching NTES Academy, an integrated learning platform where organisations can host, track, and manage their training.

We’re also developing:
  • City & BID Subscription Packages
  • Train-the-Trainer Programmes
  • On-the-Ground Pilots to measure impact & share best practice.

If you’re a venue, BID, Police and Crime Commissioner, council, Police Force, university, or cultural organisation, now is the time to raise the bar.
