Audience Development & Funding Strategy – Wake the Tiger, Bristol

We were commissioned to design the business and funding strategy for Wake the Tiger—the world’s first Amazement Park, based in Bristol.

Created by the visionary team behind the internationally renowned Boomtown Fair (also one of our clients), Wake the Tiger represents an exciting new chapter in immersive arts. After more than a decade of building one of the most ambitious festival experiences in the world, the team wanted to expand their creative horizons beyond the festival field.

What it focussed on:

Their ambition was bold: to create a year-round arts and events venue, where audiences could engage with their work outside of a festival context. More than just a visitor attraction, Wake the Tiger was imagined as a living, breathing creative community—a place where artists and collaborators could evolve, experiment, and build extraordinary experiences together.

We worked closely with the team to bring this vision to life, developing:

  • A clear vision and values framework
  • A robust business and funding strategy
  • A comprehensive audience development plan

This work helped lay the foundations for Wake the Tiger to secure the funding it needed and establish itself as a trailblazing cultural destination in Bristol.
